Il Maggiolino is back: from 2nd May until 7th May the festival of theater, dance, art and music for children proposes theatrical performances and. We meet Cinzia Morandi, artistic director of Teatro Pan and organiser of Il Maggiolino.

“Anche per oggi non si muore. Lo strano caso del signor G” (“Even for today we don't die. The strange case of Mr. G”) is a “teatro-canzone” play by the theatre company A.T.I.R. of Milan, produced in collaboration with Claudia Lombardi Foundation for Theatre. The show will be staged on 10 March at the Teatro Foce. We meet Stefano Orlandi, who wrote the script and stars as the protagonist.
"Questo tempo freddo e oscuro" ("This cold and dark time") is a play by the companies Lagotina from Lugano and Fourés-Rougier from Bellinzona, which will be at the Teatro Foce from 24 to 26 February. We talk about it with René Fourés.
"Kokoschka" is a performance by the company Opera retablO that tells the story of love inspired by the relationship between Oskar Kokoschka and Alma Mahler. The show runs from 9 to 11 February at the Teatro Foce. We talk about it with Ledwina Costantini and Daniele Bernardi, who created the show.
The new Foce season starts on 2 February: over 160 cultural events including concerts, theatre performances and conferences. We talk about the new season with Michela Poretti, artistic director of Foce.
Circo Giroldòn is the smallest travelling circus in Europe. Founded in 1991 by Lenka Foletti Machoninova and Alberto Foletti, it tours all over Europe every year with its shows. On 11 and 12 February, the circus' winter tent will stop in the park of Villa Carmine for a show entitled "Matto da legare".
"Giostra" (“Merry-go-round”) is the first theatrical work by the Agemò Teatro company, winner of Testinscena 2022 by the Claudia Lombardi Foundation for Theatre. "Giostra" will be staged on 21 and 22 January at Teatro Foce. We talk about it with Gerardo Benedetti, who stars and directs the play.
"Liberi tutti!" (“Free everyone”) tells the story of a puppeteer who wishes to set his puppets free. Inspired by "La Sorpresa" (“The Surprise”), a comedy in two acts by Chesterton published posthumously in 1952, "Liberi tutti!" will be at Teatro Foce on 20 January. We talk about it with Otello Cenci, who wrote the script and directs the play.
"L’arte della memoria" (“The art of memory”) is a play by the Teatro Pan that will be performed on 13 and 14 January at the Teatro Foce. We talk about the play with Cinzia Morandi, who wrote and stars together with Nicola Cioce.
