Divisione eventi e congressi
Lugano Eventi is a brand of Divisione eventi e congressi of the City of Lugano, founded in 1993 with the aim of gathering enquiries, requests, proposals from the world of the young and creative, and supporting their realisation.
Divisione eventi e congressi is one of the largest event organisers in Ticino, thanks to a dense network of collaborations with private individuals, associations and public bodies, and the involvement of more than a thousand young professionals each year.
Divisione eventi e congressi, headed by Claudio Chiapparino, is part of the Culture, Sport and Events Department of the City of Lugano, which is headed by City Councillor Roberto Badaracco.
Thanks to the valuable contributors who work daily to enrich the LuganoEventi platform, we provide the public and guests with a useful tool to discover the exciting leisure offers of artists and organisers. In turn, the organisers find an agenda that inserts proposals as early as possible, so that they are well oriented in their choice of programming dates.

Competent Offices
With its staff of specialized employees, the Events and Congresses Division takes care of all stages of the realization of an event, from conception to authorization, up to implementation. With an audience that exceeds half a million people a year between citizens and tourists, it represents one of the largest realities in Ticino.
The Division also promotes the destination of Lugano as a congress and business destination, organizing the activities of the Palazzo dei Congressi and the Exhibition Center, and guarantees the management and maintenance of the city’s public lakeside facilities.
