Circo Giroldòn is the smallest travelling circus in Europe. Founded in 1991 by Lenka Foletti Machoninova and Alberto Foletti, it tours all over Europe every year with its shows. On 11 and 12 February, the circus' winter tent will stop in the park of Villa Carmine for a show entitled "Matto da legare".
"Giostra" (“Merry-go-round”) is the first theatrical work by the Agemò Teatro company, winner of Testinscena 2022 by the Claudia Lombardi Foundation for Theatre. "Giostra" will be staged on 21 and 22 January at Teatro Foce. We talk about it with Gerardo Benedetti, who stars and directs the play.
"Liberi tutti!" (“Free everyone”) tells the story of a puppeteer who wishes to set his puppets free. Inspired by "La Sorpresa" (“The Surprise”), a comedy in two acts by Chesterton published posthumously in 1952, "Liberi tutti!" will be at Teatro Foce on 20 January. We talk about it with Otello Cenci, who wrote the script and directs the play.
"L’arte della memoria" (“The art of memory”) is a play by the Teatro Pan that will be performed on 13 and 14 January at the Teatro Foce. We talk about the play with Cinzia Morandi, who wrote and stars together with Nicola Cioce.
“Fessure” (“Fissures”) is a play by Teatro delle Radici that will be on stage at the Teatro Foce from December 15th to December 18th. We talk about it with Cristina Castrillo, who wrote the script and directs of the show.
Hotlanta is a band from Ticino that combines rock, blues and soul. The brainchild of musicians Matteo “Tedd” Bertini (vocals) and Rocco “El Tigre” Lombardi (drums), later joined by Matteo “Cleveland” Ballabio (Rhodes/synth), Mattia “Mad” Mantello (guitar) and Francesco “Cec” Rezzonico (bass), Hotlanta plays on December 17th at the Studio Foce.
“52” is a monologue written and interpreted by Pablo Gershanik, produced by the Compagnia Finzi Pasca. The show, presented at the Teatro Foce on December 7th and 8th, is the result of a personal and social research conducted by Gershanik on the role of art in the elaboration of a trauma. We talk about it with the protagonist.
An Italian punk band with 12 albums, 2 collections and 2 live shows, Punkreas will perform on December 9th at the Studio Foce to celebrate more than thirty years of career.
